Misu

Biologists have studied free ranging wild wolves for decades. Scientists have also thoroughly studied the behavior of captive-born wolves, however very little research has been done on wolfdogs. So we began a long term Wolfdog study project at Indigo Mountain in 2006 which focuses on development, social behaviors, learning, training, and nutrition. Our studies are carried out through observation and documentation and use no invasive methods.

Misu is a 87% F4 wolfdog. He is the omega of the pack, but does test his bigger brother Kobuk occasionally just to see if he can pull off a move up the ladder. He is the sweetist, most loving wolfdog with people he knows well and trusts. Yet he is also very shy and skittish with strangers.
