Wildlife Rehabilitation - Leave Wildlife Wild

We receive a number of calls each year from concerned individuals that have found a fledgling bird or a hurt raccoon.  Indigo Mountain is not a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and cannot rescue injured or sick wildlife.

To locate a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator in your vicinity contact:

State wildlife agency such as the Colorado Division of Wildlife

Humane Society

City or County Animal Control

Or check out this link:

How To Locate a Wildlife Rehabilitator

Remember, in most areas it is against the law to take an animal out of the wild, even if you plan to rehabilitate and release them.

In the Colorado Springs and vicinity contact

Wild Forever Foundation
719-475-WILD

or

Ellicot Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
719-683-8152
