|  | | | Ahkia High content wolfdog of arctic decent Ahkia and her brother Mofassa were rescued from a breeder in 2004. She was in grave condition upon her arrival. She was missing a large portion of her muzzle from a fence fight, and far too thin. Bloodwork proved our suspicions that she was heart worm positive and fecals proved she was infested with hookworms. After three long months of treatment Ahkia tested negative for the parasites and was well on the way to recovery.
